Har ki Dun Trek
Nestled within the Garhwal Himalayas in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, Har Ki Dun beckons trekkers on a 25 km scenic route through ancient villages towards the "Valley of the Gods" Har Ki Dun offers a cultural twist with locals and the divine sound of Shiva. Continuing on the Taluk-Gangad road to Osla village, one starts at Sankari, where the northern face of the first Swarga Rohini peak can be seen. Executed properly from May to June, the trek revealed a diverse landscape—snow-covered landscapes in March, flowering plants in April, and a unique August festival featuring the rich Mochi Crust appear in autumn and September. The easy downhill walk covers 25 km in three days and ends in Marinda Tal or Hata Valley. Suitable for children ages 9 or older, this 7-day tour encapsulates the beauty and spirituality of Har Ki Dun.
